The Scottish atmospheric pop combo Gum have posted three new podsafe tracks for all of our friends in the podcasting community.
'Try stopping me now' has always been a highlight of Gum's live set, but has yet to appear on any album. This version captures some of the decadent nightclub feel that makes it a firm favourite with the fans and a great closing number at gigs.
'Easy' has been remixed from the first album and is given an altogether jauntier treatment by the semi-legendary mix-meisters Bowman and Poole, bringing out the more upbeat aspects of the song.
'Frozen Out' from the album Low-flying Kites is stripped right back to basics and given an even chillier electronic treatment, with the focus firmly on Leigh's haunting and melancholic vocal.
